Entry Details & Christmas Bonus

All entries received prior to 30th November 2011 will receive their jersey and event kit prior to Christmas!

Entries are limited, with a field capacity of 3,500 riders over the 2 events.  This event has reached capacity for the last 3 years running so be sure to get your entry in early!!

Following a survey conducted with all 2011 participants, the new look 2012 official event jersey is unveiled!

The superior quality, fit and design of the 2XU official event jersey's make them enormously popular and frequently spotted along Beach Road.

Once you determine your ideal fit you will be required to select your chosen size when entering via our online entry system.

Please choose your jersey size carefully and enter early! SuperSprint cannot guarantee the jersey size you require will be available if you leave your entry until later in the year!

Compulsory Jersey Policy

It is compulsory once again, for all participants to wear the official 2012 2XU event jersey for the duration of the ride, to help ensure the event and services to participants is not compromised by non-registered riders.

The compulsory jersey rule was introduced by SuperSprint in the 2010 Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride and we were pleased with its success in seeing all participants embrace the jersey and have an enjoyable event experience.

Sharing the road with BikeSafe

SuperSprint have partnered with Bike Safe, a  group committed to improving safety for cyclists in the Surf Coast Shire region.

Now in its’ 6th year, the 2XU Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride continually leaves a legacy on improving safety in the Shire.  The 2011 event saw $10,000 go towards funding for Bike Safe initiatives, such as the new ‘Share the Road’ signs which will be permanently erected on the Great Ocean Road and other key roads.
