Following a survey conducted with all 2010 participants, the new look 2011 official event jersey has been unveiled!

Important Sizing Note: Nalini is an Italian clothing company. The jerseys produced are of an elite cut offering a contoured body fit. As an Australian cyclist you may find you’re used to wearing a more loose fitting jersey.

Compulsory 2011 Event Jersey for all Participants

SuperSprint introduced the compulsory event jersey rule for both the Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride and the Kinglake Ride in 2010 to ensure that the entrants of the events did not have the event services and products compromised by non entrants on the course at the venue.

The issue came to a head in the 2009 Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride when police, the traffic management company and SuperSprint estimated there over 600 non entrants creating extra congestion on the roads and that they were using the services (medical, maintenance, traffic management) and products (drink stops  and sponsor products and race kits at the finish) of entrants.

Since the introduction of the rule, the problem has been dramatically reduced and our participants services, products and safety have not been compromised.
